Principal System Architect
Responsible for the architecture, design, and development of PRPC based solution across client, partner or Pega-led projects. Drive work at both the enterprise and project level including scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, UAT and production deployment. Ensure delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed and meet/perform to technical and functional requirements. Work in conjunction with the Engagement Leader to size configuration and development efforts and to manage scope and risks. Develop solutions architecture. Provide thought leadership to fellow team members and the client across business and technical project dimensions, solving enterprise-wide complex business requirements. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to identify and drive PRPC enhancements with Product Engineering and Solutions Frameworks from trends in client requirements, implementation experience and competitor offerings. Lead the application development team and act as mentor to all team members across a portfolio of projects.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 12 years’ experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large scale enterprise application systems. Will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 8 years’ experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large scale enterprise application systems. Experience specified must include: 7 years’ experience in J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, or Java), Oracle and/or DB2 and MS/SQL; 5 years’ experience in PRPC Architecture and PRPC design and implementation features; Must be certified in: PegaRules Process Commander (PRPC) System Architect (CSA); PRPC Senior System Architect (CSSA); PRPC Lead System Architect (CLSA). Telecommuting permitted. May live anywhere in the U.S. Requires 75% domestic travel to client sites.
